4th Grading Refletion

Going Forward….

“So much of growing up is an unbearable waiting. A constant longing for another time. Another season..” Months? Weeks? Days? Ohhhh time really runs so fast. Fourth Grading Quarter will almost end and school years have come to end. These remaining days will be the time to enjoy our life as a High Scholl Student. This grading is easier than the past grading even though there are some challenges we met. Life challenges are not supposed to paralyze us, they’re supposed to help us discover who we are. Every end of school years, I reflect back upon my year and evaluate my performance and influence.
Each and every one of us has shown great growth and improvement over the past four years in this institution. My leadership skills have developed immensely, and I learned how to put these skills to good use. It was a struggle for me to be a good and responsible student to class and fulfill all requirements, but with encouragement I made it. I am so proud to myself and of course I will miss my friends, teachers, and also my Alma Mater greatly. With their departure, I wonder what I could have done differently to myself to make my journey the best of it. Did I encourage myself enough? Did I push myself enough? Did I give myself the right balance to be a good friend? I’d like to think the answer to each of these questions is YES.

So let me get this opportunity to say THANK YOU to those who have been part of my journey on my high school life. Thanks for those laughter’s and everything. Love lots! J

                                  KANNAWIDAN FESTIVAL

KANNAWIDAN… Philippines is known for its rich culture. Every province has its own festival. And here in Ilocos Sur we had the Longganisa Festival, Raniag Festival, Binatbatan Festival and the Kannawidan Festival. This year we celebrate the 7th Kannawidan Festival. This Kannawidan Festival aims to preserve the culture of the Ilocanoes. Every municipality of the province will present their otop. There is also the contest that are being done like the Choir (singing Ilocano songs), tadek (a dance from the high lands of province), mural paintings (beautiful Spots in Ilocos Sur)  and other. During the night there are bands and artists performing entertaining the Ilocanoes. There is also this search for the “Sanniata ti Agtutubo”. And for this year there is again a mini carnival at the center of the Quirino Stadium. Well this Kannawidan Festival is really amazing. Come and experience the culture of Ilocanoes!

ME, in the Future…

                          ME, in the Future…
As I was scrutinizing the past I don’t want to go with my life in the future, but we should face it. Many things running in my mind and different feelings to feel, excitement, Nervous, Sadness Happiness and many more.
Me, maybe 10 years from now? Yes it’s really hard to predict what you will be in the future. I can feel the excitement, why? Maybe I am so excited what will I be 10 years from now. Maybe after I graduated from high school I will take up the teaching course and maybe after my college life I will be a professional teacher. I will teach my students very well. I will teach them to be a good and responsible student. I will help my parents; I will take care of them. And maybe 15 years from now I’m hoping that I will have my own happy family. We will build our own house I mean our dream house. I just want a simple life in the future, I I want to have two(2) or three(3) children, I want to have my own car in the future and use it in visiting or going beautiful places and beautiful spots. Even though I have my own family I will not forget to thanks the people who [pushed me to motivate myself to be a good and responsible person and a good mother to my children in the future. Especially to my parents for their support for me. Without them I will not be what I am and what I have now.
But from now we should face first our present and concentrate with it because without our present we will not have our future life. I will always thanks God who is always there for me no matter what happen he is guiding me always.

Change Starts with Me.

                                             Change Starts with Me.

“There is no permanent in this world except for the word CHANGE.” A saying that I always hear well, it is a fact. Everyone change for his or her betterment while others are cause by the pain they’ve suffered. Every year some has their own new years resolution. They want to change, isn’t it? But why is there still so many problems, do they really do their resolutions? In our days, we know that the world is facing lots of problems. The destruction of our surroundings, crime, climate change and a lot more. Our country has many laws but still we can’t control crime. We know the right and wrong doing but why does we still do what is wrong? So sometimes we can’t accept our own mistake right?
I think this is the right time too MAKE REALLY a changed. We must fix ourselves make a difference for our nation for the future. Make a promise: Change Starts with Me.

Reflection for the Third Grading Period

REFLECTION of Mine

Third grading Quarter was full of adventures. There were lots of school activities, workshop and of course the long weekend Christmas vacation and of course the upcoming inevitable Periodical Examination.
Because   of this so Many activities we had lots of bounding moments, we’d made memories. As a result we only had limited time to have our lectures. HAHAHA! :D and during this long weekend Christmas vacation I really really enjoyed it. I was with my relatives. We traveled 12 hours in going to Mariveles Bataan. We visited our other relatives there and I enjoyed it a lot we have lots of bounding with my cousins. We go there just to have our Noche Buena. Also we went to the province of  Ilocos Norte to explore and visits beautiful tourist spots. And because of it I forgot to do my task on school. I did not bother to open even a single notebook of mine. That’s I really had to have a hard time to review again for our third periodical examination. But God is really good I know that he will help me no matter what happens.

New Year, New Me!

New Year, New Life, New Beginning......

A new year for a new you. New adventures. New experiences. Let go off all your past mistakes. Forget all the negativity. A year to focus on all the positive things. A year to create new friendships. And a year to believe in yourself.
Anything that has caused me pain in the previous year, eradicate it with the idea of new beginnings. Forget my past but let it go with forgiveness. Think about what you are changing and who are you changing for. Think about if change will be for better or for worse and who is promoting your change for worse.  I will allow myself to make mistakes so this won’t be the only year with knowledge. Making mistakes doesn’t mean you are a mistake, so make them! You will learn from them and this change that is spoken about only comes from learning. Make a mistake once in a while. You are not a mistake for making a mistake and are not failing if you are learning slowly. Love yourself for it is one of the most important keys of loving others. Do not let someone love you for you’re because though love is shareable, you must be greedy with it.  Start loving yourself more than you love your own neighbor because true love results in confidence, not arrogance. Love yourself not because you are popular, or rich, or the collector of materials that the rest can’t collect. Don’t love yourself for the things you can see but close your eyes and love yourself blind. Love those who hurt you and those who healed you. Love those who do not support your decisions and love those who you do not support their choices. Love hearts, not faces. Love your past and your future. Love what you cannot see. Love what you see. Love with all of your heart because love is the necessity for a fresh beginning.

CHRISTMAS IS IN THE AIR

Christmas is in the Air

Christmas! Magic word that makes everyone happy. Why? It’s because it’s the time of giving. Happiness is in the air. Noise, laughter’s everybody is having a great time. The smell of delicious delicacies cooks is mixed in the air. And the clock hits at 12’oclock every family is at their houses exchanging gifts and eating together with their Noche Buena. But let me ask everyone who’s reading this: For you what’s the true essence of Christmas?
We know and see that there are lots of less fortunate in our country, they are being devastated by strong earthquakes and typhoons, and some don’t have money to buy new pair of clothes nor to buy their foods. But because Filipinos are known for having big hearts “BAYANIHAN SA BAYAN NI JUAN” is still alive.

Let us also forgive and forget, may we have a peaceful and prosperous Christmas!
